CSS Lists
29 May 2005
I just finished updating The Vic with the timetable our latest event, Family Night at the Movies. It was my first real exploration of the power of CSS and html lists. Until recently I would have just used a table to do this, but since my new resolution has been to abandon the table tag I started playing around with CSS and came up with something that I think is better than what I could have done with tables. And it degrades beautifully: I loaded the page up in links and it was totally usable.
Update: Turns out the rest of that page looks like total ass using Mac IE5 - something to do with the floats I used in the timetable section by the look of it.
