- 10ml Kahlua
- 10ml Tia Maria
- 10ml Creme de Cacao Brown
- 15ml Fresh Orange Juice
Named after the infamous New Zealand cinema candy, Jaffas, this shot is orange on the outside and sweet in the center. Mix the Kahlua, Tia Maria and Creme de Cacao in a shot glass (they don’t layer), pour about 15ml of fresh orange juice into a rock glass, and then put the shot glass into the orange juice. To drink, just shoot it back as you would any shot - the shot glass will tip over and pour into your mouth. Be careful not to over-pour the OJ, as 45ml is quite a mouthful for some people.
I was originally taught this by a very drunk customer one night at a club I used to work in. Since then it has become one of the first drinks I think of when someone asks for a shooter they’ve not tried before. It’s not too strong, and plenty sweet enough for girls that usually order Quick Fucks.
The OJ goes in a seperate glass because if you mix it with the liqueurs it turns into a gross, brown, curdling mess.
