Online Cocktails Galore

An online treasure trove of cocktail recipes to sift through:
First up is King Cocktail, the website of Dale DeGroff, master mixologist from New York’s Rainbow Room. He has a page of 100 classic cocktails, starting with an Apple Martini that uses home made flavored vodka.
- 60ml Flavored Vodka
- 45ml Cranberry Juice
In one liter of vodka, marinate 1 pear, 2 green & red apples, cored and cut into pieces, 2 cloves and 1 stick of cinnamon. Steep over night.
Next up is Drinkboy’s list, many of which have an accompanying writup.
Up here in the bitter north, such cool and thrist quenching drinks are rarely seen. Warmer drinks such as the Coffee Nudge would be more appropriate. But I do remember a trip to Atlanta some time ago when I went Questing for a Mint Julep.
Finally, Ardent Spirits has a list of recipes, some their own, some reader submitted. I like the sound of the Peanut Butter and Jelly Shot:
- 3/4 Frangelico
- 1/4 Baileys Irish Cream
- 1/4 Stolichnaya Razberi vodka
- 1/4 Chambord
I’ll definitely be coming back to these sites next time I need some mixing inspiration.
