The Automated Bartender

Some nice people at the University of Massachusetts have created an automated bartending robot. It’s so nice to think that I can be replaced by a machine. Of course, they are doing it to help bartenders. In their own words:
If we could cut out the job of the bartender for the person seated at the table, we’d increase efficiency, increasing profitability for the bar and tips for the bartender.
In other words, we can replace one of the bartenders with a machine, so the other ones get all his tips. Still, it’s a pretty cool project. I wonder if it can check ID…
