Klondike Trek: 25 July - 19 August

14 June 2005

I’ve finally booked my next holiday: Trek America’s Klondike Trek. I fly in to Seattle, where I meet the group and head off for 28 days of camping. We begin traveling north through British Columbia, through the Yukon Territory into Alaska, over to Anchorage and the Kenai Peninsula. Then it’s back to Seattle via Skagway and a 4 day ferry trip.

I went on the Canadian Parks West trip in 2003, and had the most amazing time. Hopefully this trip, which was highly recommended by one of my trek-mates, will prove to be just as good. I’m certainly looking forward to the break from work. I’ve been doing some really long shifts recently, and I’m starting to feel a bit jaded. Too much work and not enough play.

If by some freak accident you’re reading this and have booked onto the same trip, feel free to drop me a line via the comments link at the side.
